To get the most out of your investment in your hobby, NITRO BLAST clearly is your best choice. No other product gives you these types of performance gains for so little!

How NITRO BLAST Fuel Additive Works:
Nitro BLAST is very different from all other oil additives on the market. It is an anti-friction metal treatment that actually treats the metal itself by penetrating 3-5 microns into the metal structure and making it "wet". Nitro BLAST is not a lubricant, but instead uses the existing lubricant to get to the metal and reduce friction. Friction produces pressure and heat. Nitro BLAST is attracted to that heat. The more heat and pressure produced, the faster and deeper the metal gets treated. When used as directed, Nitro BLAST can reduce friction by up to 75%. Nitro BLAST does not coat the engine with resin or bonded film like additives designed for automobiles. It is a synthetic chemical and contains no petroleum distillates. There is no Teflon, PTFE, plastic, graphite, or moly. There is no buildup on the metal surfaces and no change of tolerances. Nitro BLAST has a very high flash point (1500 degrees F) that keeps it from evaporating at normal temperatures. Competing products with low flash points (350 degrees F) tend to "burn up" and cannot perform as well. This is why you only have to add 1 oz. of Nitro BLAST each gallon of your favorite fuel.
To get the most out of NITRO BLAST, one of the best approaches is to treat your engine like you are breaking it in again. However, you are starting now from a point in your settings only slightly richer than where you normally prefer to run your engine.

Add the entire bottle of NITRO BLAST fuel treatment to a full one gallon of your favorite fuel. After adding the Nitro BLAST, re-fill the Nitro BLAST bottle with fuel which will help you wash out all of the NITRO BLAST additive into your gallon jug. For most aircraft, do your run in procedures on the ground for the first tank. Cars can simply just be driven around, but be sure to have your adjustment screwdriver handy. We have designed the Nitro Blast bottle to be re-used as a fuel primer bottle, how's that for a freebie?

Within three tanks of fuel you will have conditioned your engine.

Tank #1 As you begin burning your first tank of fuel, the engine will either show no improvement or it will be running slightly rich. Just before your first tank is depleted, start to tune your engine by leaning out the main needle valve. At this point you can safely progress anywhere from 1 to 3 clicks leaner. There is no need to let the engine cool, so get right into your second tank of fuel.

Tank #2 With the engine running, advance the throttle to full (airplanes on the ground, cars driving around) for short bursts. Now is when the treatment will start to affect the way your engine runs. You can leave the settings as is, or tune a little more to your preference. Just before the second tank is depleted is the time to adjust your idle settings. (Airplanes that do not have a mechanical idle stop can be adjusted via the trim tab slider in your radio). You should be able to start to reduce your idle at this point. Find some reliable settings (both idle and main needle valve) and finish the tank with variable throttle settings.

Tank #3 If YOU are ready for the next tank then let's go! There is NO NEED to let the motor cool at this point because NITRO BLAST treated fuel will allow even hot engines to start effortlessly! Into your third tank of fuel you should begin to see some striking improvements. Your temperature will either be the same, or lower, and your needle valve is set leaner than before. Continue with the tuning process during your third tank. The goal is to find your new operating range. Your main needle valve will be set leaner, your low-speed needle valve (if applicable) will also be closed leaner, and your temperature will either be the same or lower!

And beyond...Some users have reported that on their second day of running they were able to close the main needle valve even more. The extent of how far you can go depends on the condition of the engine, its application (the model) and your fuel type. Helicopter engines, for example, operate at higher temperatures than airplane engines. NITRO BLAST treats hotter running engines faster than cooler ones, so the extent of benefit would be increased if you ran your engine a little hotter than you normally do (that doesn't mean it will actually be hotter) after the third tank or so. With all nitro methane fueled engines, care must be used when adjusting the needle valve. Most modelers, even without expensive testing equipment, know by sound and feel how their engine should operate.

After treatment those that have used the NITRO BLAST are seeing performance results that they never had before. Lower, rock-solid idling, improved throttle advancement, higher full throttle RPM, less noise, lower temperatures and longer run times.

Within three tanks of non-treated fuel, your engine will return to its previous performance level.

Never leave un-used fuel in your engine! Even if you don't use Nitro Blast, always burn all fuel out of the engine!
